Shaira Cohen is the CEO of The Cohen Review and will be your instructor if you join us.
In addition to being a nurse educator, she holds the FNP board certification from the AANP and has been working with Oncology patients in hospital settings since 2010.
At the age of 12, she moved to the United States from Argentina. She soon discovered she could assist her family through hard work and dedication. Her strong character made her an exceptional fitness instructor, and through these initial jobs, she found her passion for teaching. Students have reported that Mrs. Cohen's contagious industriousness motivates them. She understands the challenges of studying while raising children and working multiple jobs when English isn't your first language. Her teaching style is engaging, utilizing vivid imagery and helpful hints to aid retention. Mrs. Cohen focuses solely on the essential material to pass the board exam.
Mrs. Cohen received a Master's APRN-FNP from Maryville University, a Master's RN from Sacred Heart University, and a Bachelor's RN from the University of Boston.
Shylton Matta is the CTO of The Cohen Review and is responsible for tech support.
Before starting The Cohen Review with Mrs. Cohen, Shylton worked for ten years in private asset management firms. He focused on improving processes using technology and managing internal financial systems and personnel.
Shylton earned a Bachelor's in Finance from Pace University and a BA in Computer Science from Oregon State University.
